Creating an Account

You can now click ‘Create Account’ or choose to sign in using Facebook or Google+, which will use your existing Facebook or Google+ details such as your username and password, saving you from having to remember them. We don’t have access to your Facebook or Google+ data, so it’s totally safe to do so!

Creating a new account: If you are creating an account from scratch, you will be asked for your name, a valid email, and a password. It will also have checkboxes to accept and reject newsletters and other information. You’ll then need to add a billing and shipping address, including a phone number; click the “edit address” or “manage addresses” option on the Account page to do so. Be sure to complete all required fields (indicated with a red asterisk).

Sign in with Google+ or Facebook: Click the appropriate option and an account will be generated for you using the email address of your Facebook or Google account. It will also have checkboxes to accept and reject newsletters and other information. You’ll then need to add a billing and shipping address, including a phone number; click the “edit address” or “manage addresses” option on the Account page to do so. Be sure to complete all required fields (indicated with a red asterisk).

Once you’ve done that, you’re all set!

My account menu

The My Account menu contains eight sections. They are the following:

Account Dashboard – An overview of your account, showing your recent orders, your points balance, contact information, and address book.

Quick Order – From this screen, you can place a quick order for any product for which you know the product code.

Account Information: Edit your name, email address, password, and email contact preferences here.

Address Book – Add and edit billing and shipping addresses in this section.

My Orders – View information about the orders you have placed.

My Product Reviews – View product reviews you’ve written on the Gyms World product pages.

Newsletter Subscriptions: Sign up for our newsletter here.

My Points & Rewards: View your points summary, earnings, and spending information.

Order

To place an order with us, click the green “Buy Now” or yellow “Pre-Order” button on the product you wish to purchase. You can also change the quantity of the item by changing the value in the quantity box. All selected products will be added to your basket (and a status message on the screen will confirm this). When you’re done shopping and ready to complete your order, simply click the basket icon or the total price in the green box in the top right corner, and you’ll be taken to the “Shopping Basket” screen “.

The “Shopping Cart” screen shows you the product(s) you have chosen, the quantity of each item you have selected, the price (not including shipping), and how many Points you will earn for your purchase.

If you have Pointed in your Gyms World account, you can apply them here for a discount equal to 1 penny per point (eg 100 points = £1) using the ‘Spend your points’ slider. You can also enter any discount codes you have received from us in the “Discount” box.

Once you are satisfied with the contents of your basket, simply click the green checkout button to complete your purchase. If you decide you need to add more items, simply click on the Gyms World logo in the top left corner or browse through the category menu bar. You can of course go back to your basket at any time by clicking on the green basket icon or on the total price in the upper right corner of the screen.

On the “Pay” screen you will be asked to select a billing address from your address book. You can select to ship to the same address using the checkbox, or select to ship to an alternate address. Please note that you must have an alternate address available in your address book, or you will need to select “New Address” from the dropdown menu.

Next, choose your preferred shipping method from the available options, then select your payment method from Credit/Debit Card or Paypal.

Please review your order details carefully before clicking the “Order Now” button.

Credit/debit card payment: carefully enter your card details on the “Payment Details” screen, making sure to complete all required fields. Card number, expiration date, CSV (last three digits on the signature strip), and issue number (when present) are required. Press Continue to make your payment. Your details will then be verified with your card provider or bank, and your order will either be approved and completed or declined. If you have any problems with your credit card payment, please contact your bank or our customer service at +447418359174.

Pay with Paypal: You will be redirected to the Paypal site to complete your order. You will need your PayPal username and password to log in. Just follow the instructions on the screen to complete your transaction.

You can now view your completed orders in the “My Orders” section of the “My Account Menu”.

Pay

We accept payments in Pounds Sterling or Euros.

Payment can be made by VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Paypal, or AmazonPay. We do not accept American Express.

shipping and delivery

Delivery times

Standard delivery is 5-7 working days, however, we can offer a ‘Next Working Day’ or ’48 Hour Delivery’ service if you need your order quickly.

Please note that we do not deliver on Sunday, and Saturday delivery must be specifically selected if you require a weekend delivery. Any overnight and 48-hour deliveries must be made by 2:00 p.m. All orders placed with “next day” delivery on Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays will be shipped the next business day.

Can I receive my order at a different address?

Yes. When you place your order, you can add a different delivery address. If the billing address is different from your delivery address, the invoice will always be sent to your billing address. Remember that your billing address is the address where your payment card is registered.

24 and 48-hour delivery is available to most areas (except Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland), please call for details.

Items less than 30kg will be shipped as parcels. Items over 30kg will be shipped as pallets.

Items being shipped to the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland may incur an additional shipping charge. If the shipping cost is different from the previous one, we will contact you to advise you. Your package will not be sent until you have accepted the shipping costs.

Last minute for next-day delivery

2 pm is the latest time you can order online for next-day delivery.

Returns/Exchanges

In addition to your legal rights, our goodwill return policy allows you a refund or exchange for products purchased online or in-store with proof of purchase within 30 days of purchase. Products must be returned unused and in their original packaging. The original shipping charge will not be refunded unless the item is defective or damaged. Return information
Cancel An Order

If you have placed an order on our website and wish to cancel it, please contact our Customer Service team at +447418359174 or Sales@gymsworld.co.uk as soon as possible. If the order has already been shipped, we may try to ask the couriers to return the items here, or you may refuse delivery when delivery is attempted.

Failed Deliveries

We ship all of our items with a Leave Safe service, which means they can be left with a neighbor or in a safe place if you’re not home. The courier will photograph the item and the place where it is left as proof of delivery. If this is a problem, please contact our Customer Services team at +447418359174 or Sales@gymsworld.co.uk before ordering so we can discuss alternative delivery options.

Couriers will attempt delivery a total of three times before returning the package to us. If the courier has been unable to deliver and there has been no safe place or neighbor to leave the package with, it will be returned to us and we will process a refund.

Returns And Replacements

Defective Items:

Before returning a faulty item to us, please contact our Customer Service department at +447418359174. We will usually ask for a photograph showing the fault of the item, but in some cases, we may request that the item be returned to us for inspection. If the item is faulty, we will repair or replace it as necessary.

We will not refund shipping charges for any item returned to us without confirmation from our Customer Service department.

Non-Defective Items:

If any item does not meet your expectations, you may return it to the mailing address below. It must be returned unused within 30 days of receiving your order. We recommend that you obtain proof of return from the carrier.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information we collect about you in a lawful way (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and in accordance with the ‘Which?’ Web Merchant Code of Practice. How long will my order take to be delivered?

Can I track my delivery?

Yes, you will receive an email with your tracking details and, if you have provided us with your mobile phone number, you will also receive a text message.

Your order will be delivered anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. m. and 8 p.m. m. Monday through Friday (unless a specific day or scheduled delivery has been selected). Your tracking details will include a one-hour time interval, but this is only an estimate and is subject to change.

What happens if I am not there when my order is delivered?

All of our items are shipped on a ‘drop off’ service so if you are unable to accept the package the driver will try a neighbor, drop you off at a safe location, or in some cases take the package to your Parcel Shop location for collection. We can ship items on a ‘signed for’ service if requested.

The driver will take a photo as proof of delivery for any delivery made at the door or left at a neighbor/secure location.

How can I know if an item is out of stock?

Our website updates stock levels regularly and automatically, so you can shop with confidence. If there are any unforeseen issues, we will contact you immediately to let you know.

We do not do partial shipments unless specifically requested, so if you place a multiple-item-order where one or more items are out of stock, we will wait until everything is in stock before shipping the goods. If you require any In-Stock items to be dispatched please first call our Customer Services department on 01904 696933 and we can arrange this for you. There is no extra charge for this service.

Can I change or add to an order?

As long as we haven’t shipped your order, we can modify it for you. Just call our sales team at +447418359174 or Sales@gymsworld.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help.

When should I ask for help with the installation of my products?

You should not make arrangements for any outside contractor until your package has been received and verified for shortages or damage.

What credit cards can I use for payment?

We will accept Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro. Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express.

Can I use Paypal?

Yes, you certainly can. We now take Paypal, giving you even more payment flexibility.

How do I return an item?
